10 Guilty Pleasure Albums Nobody Will Admit That They Love

1. Justin Bieber €“ Purpose

So it's come to this, has it? Justin Bieber has begun putting out songs that €“ while sounding like your standard pop/R&B radio fare €“ are genuinely catchy, with decent beats and a more mature approach to lyricism. The singles from Bieber's 2015 album Purpose have been taking the radio by storm, including What Do You Mean?, Sorry and Love Yourself. Upon hearing and enjoying them, the vast majority of people deny they knew it was Bieber in the first place, as if their enjoyment is somehow criminal with that knowledge. Look, it's okay. You can admit Spotifying the album after singing along with Sorry. But can you admit to actually liking it? The Bieber stigma was so ludicrously intense that for many, the answer to that question is no. But that doesn't mean you can't continue to enjoy it. Just make sure your streaming service is set to €œprivate session€.
