10 Hard Rock Song Lyrics That Nobody Understands

6. I Got A Pocketful Of Bullets And A Blueprint Of The School

Shock rock legend, Alice Cooper, released Brutal Planet in 2000, taking a step away from stadium sing along hits and tongue-in-cheek rock curiosities to deliver an industrial-infused hard rock album that took no prisoners. Gone was the carefree Alice attitude behind School's Out and Feeding My Frankenstein, and in came an onslaught of war, domestic violence and school shootings.

One of the record's crowning tracks and subsequent live concert mainstay, Wicked Young Man stood out from the pack as an especial feather ruffler on release. Its subject matter is a hate-spewing, rage-filled young neo-nazi with homicidal intentions. Though many baulked at the line, 'I got a pocketful of bullets and a blueprint of the school', it was never meant to be interpreted as anything but negative.

Rather than a head-banging endorsement of teen gun violence, the track was an outright condemnation of it and not only this line, but the entire song, was penned as a direct response to the Columbine shootings the previous year.
