8. Anthrax - Title Unknown, Summer 2014
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=be7iNHw8QoQ Big 4 brothers to Slayer, Anthrax is another band with a member change in 2013 although in this case, thankfully, nobody died. Guitarist Rob Caggiano left the band early in the year to join Volbeat and was replaced by Shadow's Fall axeman Jonathan Donais. Some would say that Anthrax is enigmatic in the metal world for several reasons, lineup changes and genre bending releases being at the top of the list. Others have questioned their inclusion in the Big 4 believing that Anthrax had never achieved the success of thrash brethren Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer, an assertion that is supported by total album sales. Whatever you believe about Anthrax there is no denying that the Big 4 inclusion and 2011's excellent 'Worship Music' have done much to reinvigorate the band's career. Add this to an incredibly busy touring/festival schedule and there is certainly some buzz created for their untitled 2014 album, expected sometime in summer.
