The Album: Enter the Wu-Tang is the best album from what is generally regarded as the greatest hip-hop group of all time.

Released in 1993 the Clan's debut album brought New York City back to the forefront of hip-hop and is largely responsible for restoring the balance of power between the East and the West, especially after NWA, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and others from the golden coast had dominated the early part of the decade.

On this album the Wu-tang Clan, lead by master producers RZA, mixed gritty hardcore sounds and beats with brilliant group rapping which has propelled the album and group into legendary status within the hip-hop community.

Standout Track: C.R.E.A.M. (Honorable Mention: Wu-Tang Clan Ain't Nuthing ta F' Wit)

If You Dig This, Check Out:  Straight Outta Compton-N.W.A. The same gritty sound and great group rapping, except this time from the West coast.
