10 Horrible Hard Rock Songs By Great Artists

It's astounding to think of the sheer impact that Definitely Maybe had on an entire generation. While some rock fans were still immersed in the grunge scene coming from the US, Oasis' first offering was a shot of life from start to finish, with songs like "Live Forever" and "Supersonic" becoming anthems almost overnight. This album is filled to the brim with hits, but even Noel Gallagher himself has had some harsh words about "Digsy's Dinner."

Written about one of the band's eccentric musician friends, this entire track is a nice bit of power pop that goes absolutely nowhere. Instead of having lyrics that make you feel like you can take on the world, the filler rhymes about coming over to Noel's for tea and having lasagna is almost laughable when compared to the badass attitude of the previous track, "Cigarettes and Alcohol."

Even when being interviewed about Definitely Maybe years later, Noel admitted that he's not all that proud of it, with Liam going so far as to call it the one song off of the record that he never wants to perform live. Any self-respecting rock fan should have this record in their collection, but this 2 minutes of filler doesn't really add much to the rest of the album.
