10 Huge Artists Who Got Snubbed At The Grammys

7. Kanye West

Oh...and if you thought that Noel Gallagher wasn't one to mince words, why don't we bring up Kanye West while we're at it? As if you haven't been able to ignore the man for the past decade with every single thing he posts, Ye seems to be much more focused on shutting down the Grammys, including one infamous video where he seemed to be urinating on one of his awards. The Grammys do love them some Kanye, but only in moderation.

From the start, Ye was making tracks that got the Grammys hyped, with the College Dropout winning a Grammy when it first came out and turning him into a rap superstar. You can't say that they don't know their stuff, but there were some fans who definitely want to have a word with them about the Song of the Year that came out the same year.

Ye was up for his colossal single Jesus Walks, only to miss out on the trophy in lieu of John Mayer's pillowy soft rock of Daughters. While Mayer definitely has the talent that warrants a Grammy, Jesus Walks was definitely the more impactful song that here, with Ye basically painting the struggle of a black man in America to biblical proportions in the spirit of prophets like Job. Then again, I guess we were all more into the kind of bedroom pop that year instead of being taught a lesson.
