10 Biggest Style Icons In Music History

1. Patrick Wolf

patrick Not as well-known or as celebrated as many of the others in this list (at least not yet), Patrick Wolf has been valiantly looking as incredible and unusual as his music has often been described. Having been making albums now for over ten years, the twenty-nine year old singer and multi-instrumentalist has, in that time, adopted a number of captivating, intriguing, adrogynous and unique styles; his hair and body image constantly shifting to coincide with whatever his musical output may be at that particular moment. For example, we saw the red hair and playful high-socks/shorts combination accompanying The Magic Position album, before he instantaneously evolved into the striking, blonde warrior-from-space manifestation for his next album; The Bachelor. An individual with a preposterous amount of charisma and more musical talent than 99% of the music industry today, Patrick Wolf is every bit as interesting as his exterior appearance suggests. The glorious sight of this talented man running from microphone to violin, piano, ukulele and harp whilst performing on stage in a polka dot jumpsuit is one not to be missed. It would be magnificent to see his career go on to reach the dizzying heights that his music and wardrobe so clearly deserve. Who do you think are the biggest fashion icons in music? Was it a crime for Lady Gaga to be left out of this list? Please share your thoughts and comments below.
