9. Damian Siwek - Lorena's Chop Shop Main Riff
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_QlWr5CahM Whilst they may still be on the rise as a band, Damian Siwek has managed to create a suitably devoted following online thanks to his tutorial videos breaking down some of Slash's most badass guitar licks and riffs. Crossing over into the bands' original material though, and he's lost none of that signature sleaze that permeates every riff Slash puts his name too. The Chop Shop lick has a ridiculously enjoyable mid-tempo swing, that should Velvet Revolver ever get back together and decide to put out a track with such a gorilla-sized pair swinging underneath, it would be on the level of this riff. As this list gets increasingly harder, its always important to just remember to have fun, and if you can get the hang of this piece, especially with the use of your little finger for the Low E bend, it'll all factor into more advanced riffs in the future.
