Just shy of a minute and a half, Sir Elton John’s C*ck finds Damon crooning about the end of the world over some gentle drumming and beautiful piano chords.
Most Blur fans would probably have greeted this song with utter delight if Blur had included it on Think Tank but the band quickly dismissed it. In fact they were apparently embarrassed by the track. According to Alex James it was considered “Too Sentimental.” So they invoked some pop knight penis for the title, presumably in case anyone accused them of taking themselves too seriously.
James must have been even more embarrassed when Elton John later asked him about the track at a showbiz party.
