Does the name Myles Kennedy belong with these other greats? The answer, we believe, is yes. Theres no doubt that Myles Kennedy elevates any project hes involved with by several bars. Its also true that he possesses one of the finest rock voices known to mankind. This, coupled with his exemplary guitar skills, powerful stage presence and his chilled-out personality ensures that his connection with the audience is real and immediate. Fronting both Alter Bridge and Slashs band, Myles is a consummate professional who is often too humble for his own good,as Alter Bridge guitarist Mark Tremonti recounts that even he wasnt aware of Kennedys dazzling guitar playing until he overheard him practicing in his hotel room one night on tour. Myles range has become famous among musicians and his tone is revered in rock circles as being natural and organic. Equally as comfortable with gorgeous falsetto as he is with roaring fury, Myles voice has few limits and the reception from crowds is testament to his ability to rock the house down. Hopefully Kennedy will gain the recognition he deserves in the future, as his
fan base continues to grow and it would be great to see him release his long talked about solo album too.
