The animal man himself. Martin Garrix's bass-dropping hit song "Animals" is one of the most played and adored tunes to hear in a nightclub. The fantastic buildup and the incredible beats makes it easily one of the top songs of 2013. Sadly, not many people actually know who it's by, people know it just as "Animals" rather than "Animals by Martin Garrix". As well as that, it seems to be yet another club-craze song that will last as long as they will play it. Think about it, when was the last time you heard "Party Rock Anthem" by LMFAO. That song was a gigantic hit, yet we haven't heard it in absolutely ages! Not only this, Garrix has been massively criticised for his use of 'preset' and 'default' loops to create the song as well as using pirated copies of certain plugins after having done a recreation of the song for a popular YouTube channel. Many of his fans rose in protest at the sight of this, saying that they lost all respect for him as an artist for not using original content, instead he was lambasted for clearly having quite a bit of money, yet continuing to use pirated copies of software. It remains to see whether Martin will come out with another success, or if he'll just flourish and reap the rewards of his mega-hit, "Animals".
