10 Massive Music Acts Of 2013 Who Just Won't Last

7. Lorde

'Odd' is a rather good adjective, and it's certainly one that we would use when describing the New Zealander who skyrocketed into fame following her blockbuster of a hit "Royals". Her debut album "Pure Heroine" has also been a large success, however her style remains everlastingly similar across all of her songs and critics are notorious for not enjoying such monotonous through a full album. Still, a lot of people across the world admired her for her strong opinions, interesting voice and inspirational lyrics. However, many of those very same people are beginning to regret that admiration as her extremely odd live presence and extremely private personal life aren't what the public wants. Ironically, she may end up falling into the very clichéd lifestyle she describes in her hit "Royals," in which case her fans would beat a hasty retreat as the previously enamoured figure turned out to be exactly what she fought against and criticised. Fame and money at such a young age has never been easy. It's even more difficult to maintain your standards and fanbase into the coming years when starting at such a young age too. Where Lorde will be in 10 years time? We'll have to wait and see.
