Comedy duo turned viral pop-sensations, these Norwegian brothers who are famed for their furry musical friend "The Fox" reached international success on a monumental scale following the release of their number one hit. The song itself was recorded for their highly popular Norwegian talk show and little did they know of the waves of listeners and viewers they were about to receive. However, is that the end of their short-lived fruitful musical career? Most likely yes. As the song was originally created as a joke/skit for their talk show, Ylvis can sing moderately well without any auto-tuning, but aren't pop star quality and therefore probably cannot or would rather not produce any other serious songs in future. There's a chance they could release another silly single like "The Badger" or "The Heron" or something along those lines, but would it live up to "The Fox"? Probably not. The brothers can thrive in the income and fame that their hit has given them and keep living their normal day to day talk show lives, but most of us can agree that another song from them should probably be avoided at all costs.
