10 More Hard Rock Music Artists Who Released Two Great Albums In 2 Consecutive Years
7. Whitesnake - Come An’ Get It & Saints & Sinners
This list was made for an outfit like British band Whitesnake, who released five albums in their first five years as a recording act.
When it comes to interesting albums though, the best choice is the band's fourth and fifth albums from the years 1981 and 1982.
Come An' Get It (spelt with an apostrophe, so you know they're cool) continued the success of their previous outing Ready An' Willing (see above).
The album was boosted by the success of the single Don't Break My Heart Again, which cracked the UK top 20 and introduced many people to David Coverdale's exquisite voice/hair.
Then came '82's Saints & Sinners; a curiosity for one very big reason.
Its lead single is a song that a lot of people will know, just not in this form. Here I Go Again lead the charge for Saints & Sinners, although it failed to make a massive dent in the charts.
It was then re-recorded for the band's 1987 self-titled album and got a much nicer reception.
Saints & Sinners is still a fabulous glam rock album and the extra slice of history certainly helps it go down smoother.
