10 More Hard Rock Vinyl Albums That Are Worth A Lot Of Money

6. Nervous Breakdown - Black Flag

Velvet Underground
SST Records

When it comes to hardcore punk bands, you could do much worse than to follow Black Flag, an American group that helped establish the movement in the late 70s/early 80s.

Fronted by maverick singer Henry Rollins, Black Flag put out six albums between 1981 and 1985, gaining a strong cult following and ensuring their legacy as one of punk's more important acts.

Technically, it's not an album that's that focus of this entry as, two years before their full debut studio release, the band put out a four song EP called Nervous Breakdown.

The first release from SST Records, Nervous Breakdown was only created to lend the band some legitimacy, with only 2,000 copies printed during its first run. Luckily, their plan worked, and now this thing is worth a lot of money.

If you want to add a first edition print to your collection, then you'd better be prepared to part with $878.32. Since the EP only runs to five minutes and 13 seconds, that's a cost of about $168 per minute or $2.81 per second of music.

Crazy thing is that some people would see that as a bargain.
