10 More Hard Rock Vinyl Albums That Are Worth A Lot Of Money
3. Take The Night - Leather Nunn
Leather Nunn is an absolutely fantastic name for a band and this one should have been way more popular off the back of it.
Unfortunately, very little evidence of the tightly-clad abbey-dwellers exists online. There's a Swedish band called Leather Nun (one N) that has a Wikipedia page, but these guys don't. They were apparently formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1983 and were together for six years before splitting.
Their 1986 album, Take the Night, seems to be the only one they ever did, which might be why it is now coveted by collectors.
The album, which features an image of the five-piece standing in front of the doors to a church, is almost impossible to come by, owing to the fact that only 500 copies were ever made. Some rumours state that many of them were destroyed, so the true number still out there is probably significantly lower.
As a result, the average price of Take the Night on Discogs is a whopping $1,504.69. No doubt that, the longer this goes on and the more albums get lost or soiled, this number will continue to increase.
