10 More Rock Music Songs That Have Been Played The Most Live

7. Aerosmith - Walk This Way (1,723 Times)

Although Run-DMC helped make it super famous, Walk This Way did exist before the trio ever got their hands on it in the 80s.

It was released as a single from Aerosmith's third studio album, Toys in the Attic, in 1975, and it peaked at number 10 in the US upon its initial run.

However, nothing compares to the hip-hop shot in the arm it got in 1986, when the crossover sold over a million copies in America and helped spearhead the rap-rock movement that would explode over the next decade or so.

Thank God for Rick Rubin.

As a result, Walk This Way is the Bad Boys from Boston's most-played live song, eclipsing Dream On and Sweet Emotion. 1,723 times, Steven Tyler has tried his best not to rap in front of a live audience, as the crowd rocked out to one of the most important songs in rock 'n' roll history.

As for Run-DMC, Walk This Way is also their favourite song to bust out live. How many times have they played it live? 91. Oh.

Well, considering they haven't toured consistently since 1988, that was probably to be expected.
