Commonly compared to Rammstein for being a German heavy metal band, Unzucht are far more complex than their comparisons imply. Despite being relatively unknown beyond mainland Europe, Unzucht have enjoyed incredible commercial success for a rising metal band in their native Germany. This success includes their 2018 album, 'Akephalos', peaking at #15 in the official German album chart.
Unzucht officially joined the world of metal with their first album in 2012 titled 'Todsunde 8'. Today, they now have a grand total of six studio albums, with the most recent of which being released earlier this year.
Unzucht have earned a strong reputation in recent years thanks to their thumping, chugging industrial metal tinged approach. Because of this, they have been able to tour across Europe several times, playing as a support band and on various festival bills including Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze and Amplified Festival.
