10 Most Disturbing Music Videos In Hard Rock
8. Sick Sick Sick - Queens of the Stone Age
For a brief moment in time, it looked like Queens of the Stone Age were going to be the future of rock and roll at the turn of the millennium. Fresh off of albums like Songs for the Deaf, Josh Homme's warped stoner rock outfit was just weird enough to strike a nerve with both the underground crowd and the more radio-friendly sides of rock. Even though Era Vulgaris isn't known as a particular high point for the Queens, you can't say that Sick Sick Sick didn't leave a strong impression.
Centered around a nervy detuned guitar, the video for the song is one of the biggest head trips to come from the guys who have a song that's nothing but drug references. Though things start off pretty standard with the Queens playing in the middle of a dining room, things start to take a different turn when you focus on the girl on the opposite side of the screen.
While at first seeming like some sexual innuendo, you quickly realize that this girl is a cannibal feasting on each member of the band, with each musician being taken out one by one. By the time the song reaches its final chorus, the Queens are playing in a dark room, which could mean either oblivion or the pit of the girl's stomach. Not exactly the most horrifying video in existence, but definitely one of the most chilling scenarios ever conceived.
