10 Most Drug-Fuelled Rock Stars In Music History

2. Ozzy Osbourne

If you were a huge rock star with an uncontrollable drug habit, the moment when you might realise that you're going too far and should probably ease up on getting out of your head might come when it dawns on you that you can't remember the birth of your children. Recording albums for Ozzy Osbourne's band Black Sabbath didn't sound like the easiest task to accomplish. According to fellow band member Tony Iommi, "We were getting really drugged out, doing a lot of dope. We'd go down to the sessions, and have to pack up because we were too stoned, we'd have to stop. Nobody could get anything right, we were all over the place, everybody's playing a different thing. We'd go back and sleep it off, and try again the next day." One of Osbourne's most infamous on-stage stunts was biting the head off a bat - not surprisingly he's been unable to shake his reputation among Christian groups as a Satanist. Also unsurprisingly these controversies did wonders for record sales - Osbourne's net worth stands at a cool £220 million.
