10 Most Embarrassing Boasts In Rap Music

1. Jay-Z - "Big Pimpin"

Me give my heart to a woman? Not for nothin, never happenI'll be forever mackin'
See, this is what happens when you let your twenty-something bachelor lifestyle become a lifelong promise to millions of people. All they have to do is go back to your Greatest Hits album and find all of the inconsistencies that you'll probably have to defend against Beyonce for the foreseeable future. "No, I swear you do have my heart, Bey!" What's most awkward about this ode to the single life is the short amount of time we had to wait until he did a complete reversal on that notion. Just two years later, Jay dropped "03 Bonnie and Clyde," which contains this little love nugget: "All I need in this life of sin, is me and my girlfriend." He proceeds to rhyme about how much he needs her in his life and how completely dedicated he is to her. That girlfriend, by the way, is the woman he's been married to for the last 8 years, and whom he has a child with. Sorry, Jay, but that "Big Pimpin" boast just sounds downright dumb now.
