6. M83 Oblivion (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
Hollywood will have a lot of big budget blockbusters coming out this year. Soundtracks and original scores will accompany these films. Two of the biggest releases of the year stand out from the rest because of the amazing talent brought on to score the films. The first is that Tron: Legacy director, Joseph Kosinski, has chosen indie electronic band M83 to produce an original score for his upcoming film, Oblivion, starring Tom Cruise. Kosinski has a great taste in music; he was responsible for getting Daft Punk to make the phenomenal Tron: Legacy soundtrack. So even if you have never heard of M83, you can trust in Kosinskis judgment that they will deliver an excellent score. Oblivion arrives in theaters April 19. Expect the soundtrack/score to come out the beginning of April. Listen to: Midnight City, Reunion, and Kim & Jessie
