10 Most Expensive Rock Music Videos Of All Time

3. November Rain - Guns N’ Roses ($1,500,000)

In terms of epic music videos, you can't really argue with the stunning short film that is November Rain.

Released as a single in 1992, this near-nine minute song is still one of Guns N' Roses' most popular tracks, thanks in no small part to this video.

Much like the song, it's split up into two parts.

The first sees Axl Rose's character get married to his beautiful bride. All the guests are happy, the drink is flowing, and Slash forgets the ring! What is he like?

The reception gets rained out by a massive storm, but surely that isn't foreshadowing any major tragedy, right? Right?

In the video's final act, it is revealed that Rose's wife has died and shows the same wedding guests at her funeral. It's a heart-breaking turn of events matched by a dark shift in the song.

To bring this mini-movie to life, the band were given $1.5 million to play with. This staggering figure helped create one of the most theatrical music videos of all time; one that became the first ever rock video to surpass one billion views on YouTube.

Also, the two guitar solo bits are just amazing.
