10 Most Expensive Rock Music Videos Of All Time
2. Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle) - Limp Bizkit ($3,000,000)
When a music video has Hollywood actors Ben Stiller and Stephen Dorff show up within the first ten seconds, you know things are about to get pricey. The stars' appearance sets in motion the events of Limp Bizkit's Rollin' video, which would go on to become one of the most iconic of the nu metal era.
Stiller and Dorff give their car keys to a man in a red cap sat nearby. Bad mistake; that man was Fred Durst and he's going joyriding.
As well as shots of Freddy D cruising around New York, the video also sees the frontman dancing in a room full of lightboxes and playing with the rest of the band atop the original World Trade Center.
With its premiere locations and big-time special guests, the eventual cost of the Rollin' video comes in at an absolutely wild $3 million.
This makes it one of the ten most expensive music videos of all time, coming in ahead of George Michael's Freeeek!, Will Smith's Miami, and Michael Jackson's Bad.
And it was directed by Fred Durst!
Who thought giving that man three mil was a good idea?
