10 Most Hated Hard Rock Songs (From Great Bands)

6. All In The Family - Korn

Korn gets a lot of credit for helping kickstart the nu metal movement, and for good reason. The band's emphasis of rhythmic leads, downtuned guitars, and introspective lyrics inspired a whole new generation of metalheads to make music that wasn't necessarily in line with the Slayers and Metallicas of the world. While the band's Follow the Leader gave them some of their biggest hits like "Freak on a Leash," the track "All In the Family" should have been DOA from the very start.

The entire song is a collaboration between Korn and Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst, whose bars absolutely ruin the track. Instead of writing something thoughtful or coherent, the entire song is basically a rap battle between Durst and Jonathan Davis, who casually insult each other's bands as well as containing references to each of the bands' songs.

The song's more homophobic lyrics have also not aged well at all, with Durst coming off like a whiny manchild as he takes a lyrical dump on this backing track. Though it's easy to blame Durst for all of this, Korn aren't necessarily out of the woods, with this being deemed good enough to be put on their mainstream breakthrough record. The song may have been fun to create, but having to listen to it is the exact opposite of enjoyable.
