10 Most Infamous People In Rock Music History

6. Ted Nugent

A lot of the notoriety that comes with rock stars comes from the misbehavior that they have when it comes to drugs. These people never claimed to be role models, and they were looking to get whatever thrill that they wanted once they had the money to afford a bigger kick. Not every musician has to indulge in drugs though, but having Ted Nugent as your spokesman for no drugs is not the kind of co sign that you want.

Despite his reputation as a wild man, old Uncle Ted has never been known to live the partying lifestyle all that much. In his spare time though, you can’t really call his behavior wholesome by any stretch, getting into politics and running his mouth so much that he once got a visit from the Secret Service at his door for something that he said during one of his concerts. So what, though? Tons of bands like to put political themes into their music…only Ted takes it much further when you look beyond the surface.

Outside of the phenomenal guitar skills that he has, Ted has no problem with self esteem, calling himself one of the greatest to ever pick up the guitar and taking shots at anyone that he feels isn’t quite up to the same level as he is from a musical perspective. Considering his history as the wild man of rock and roll, that same crazy persona has turned Ted into the estranged uncle that crashes the reunion and ends up having to be escorted out of the house.
