10 Most Paused Music Videos
1. Robin Thicke - Blurred Lines
The golden rule of music videos is that, above all else, sex sells, and Robin Thicke certainly took that to heart with the instantly iconic, super-racy video for his hit "Blurred Lines."
Though the song itself proved intensely controversial for entirely different reasons - between being accused of promoting date rape and "borrowing" portions of Marvin Gaye's "Got to Give It Up" without consent - its video received tons of press for its gratuitous nudity.
The uncut version of the video features models Emily Ratajkowski, Jessi M'Bengue, and Elle Evans dancing around topless, as well as balloons spelling out, "Robin Thicke has a big d*ck." As such, it's easy to appreciate why it was one of the most-viewed music videos of 2013.
After outcry surrounding the video's content, it was briefly removed from YouTube before being restored, while an alternate "family friendly" version of the video depicts the models wearing a tad more clothing.
