10 Most Underrated Blink 182 Songs

8. Wendy Clear - Enema Of The State

There's been a certain aura that has come around Enema of the State in the past few years. Maybe it's because of the cover art...maybe it's because of the snotty attitude...but this has become the benchmark for what every pop punk band was going to sound like going forward. And why not when you have something like Wendy Clear as one of the lowlights on the record?

Although this track might not have as many spellbinding moments as something like What's My Age Again or Adam's Song, this is exactly the kind of stuff that you think of when you hear about the golden era of pop punk. And it gets even better when you realize that the whole thing is a bit more suburban teen than you might realize. Many punk acts talk about taking their girl to the skate park...but how many of them are asking to take their boat out for a spin?

It's almost as if Mark Hoppus was told to just cram as many singalong hooks as he could into one song, and boy does he deliver when he gets to the "moving on" portion of the bridge. Even when Blink are known for their heartfelt material, you can still shut your brain off when listening to this and have a damn good time.
