10 Most Underrated Eminem Songs
9. Kamikaze - Kamikaze
It seems that every single rap fan wishes they could erase Revival from their memory. While Em wasn't necessarily at the top of his game at this point, no one was expecting him to drop in quality this drastically, with songs that were a lot softer than expected and way too many cringey guest stars to count. The comeback record Kamikaze wasn't that much better, but we at least found comfort in the title track.
As a whole, Kamikaze runs pretty dreadfully as an album, with Em sounding like he's insulted that people dare to not like his album. On the other hand, the title song is actually pretty good when compared to some of the more forced tracks like Fall and Not Alike. There's no doubt that Marshall had an axe to grind, but this is the one song where that anger actually feels genuine, with verses that sound like he could fly off the handle at any minute.
Granted, this song isn't safe from the occasional dad joke like talking about teabagging a mic (because he goes nuts...get it?), but those fast raps do show you that the man is still good at his craft. For an album that should have been all about being pissed, this song has way more venom than....the unfortunate Venom that actually closes this album.
