10 Most Underrated Eminem Songs

8. Space Bound - Recovery

In the grand scheme of Eminem's discography, Recovery is both overrated and underrated at the same time. Sure, it's nowhere near the heights that Eminem saw at his peak, but the tracks on this record toe the line between accessible and angry much more tastefully than on any of his more radio-friendly projects. Most people thought the Detroit favorite was back when Not Afraid hit the airwaves, but the real power move came with Space Bound.

It's almost like this type of song shouldn't work, considering most of the abusive relationship portrait in the lyrics feels like a basic retread of Love the Way You Lie.

However, this should be considered a major improvement on Rihanna's smash hit, with Em taking center stage as he revisits an old relationship from the past. Going even darker than his initial pop crossover, the character in this song is much more self-destructive, willing to do as much harm as good to his suitor depending on where the road takes him.

Imagine a song as real as Kim being able to be played on stations, and you'd get something pretty similar to this song. Space Bound may have done OK as a single in its day, but when you step back, this is a radio crossover that has blood on the pages.
