10 Most Underrated Eminem Songs

4. Yah Yah - Music To Be Murdered By

Many Eminem fans are almost dreading every time he releases a surprise album. Whereas most fans would be stoked to hear a completely new project from their favorite artist, stuff like Kamikaze feels like it was phoned in, with Em at his most forgettable and putting out some of his most forced material. Even though Music to Be Murdered By was not the improvement that we really needed from him, we finally saw the Shady character front and center on Yah Yah.

On the surface, there's nothing too special about the song in comparison to the rest of the album, as Em spews out different threats in an attempt to coax off of the horrorcore genre. It's might not be anything that inventive, but the real power of this one tune comes in the chorus. Up until this point in the album, the songs have been either too cartoony or tasteless for their own good, but the hook line about being from slaughterhouse and throwing in Wu Tang references for good measure put a little nostalgic twist on what used to one of rap's most shocking presences.

See, Em...this is what happens when you follow through on your idea. Maybe it's just the Halloween season upon us, but "Yah Yah" is just the kind of menace you need on your playlist every now and again.
