10 Most Underrated Foo Fighters Songs

1. Best Of You (Acoustic) (2006)

Okay, Best Of You could never be considered 'underrated'. All you need to do is watch a few live versions of this number to see just how much the crowd appreciates it. It's one of the best tools in the band's arsenal to give fans a good time.

The power of this song lies in its evocative melody and Grohl's ability to muster up such wild emotion whenever he breaks into the chorus. But the live acoustic version doesn't get enough credit. If you really want to experience the raw impact of this number, then listen to Grohl hammer it out with nothing more than an acoustic guitar and his voice.

The rest of the band bowed out of this one, it really was just one man, his guitar and a voice. But with a voice that emotive, you don't need much more to do a song like this justice... Grohl's performance was so rousing, that audience members couldn't help but add their own voices to the mix, during the breakdown. Do yourself a favour and get this added to your 'acoustic ballads' playlist, you won't regret it.
