10 Most Underrated Glam Rock Songs Of All Time

6. Dream On - Britney Fox

As a band, Britney Fox never quite made it as big as they perhaps should have. Their talents certainly warranted they rub shoulders with the likes of Cinderella. Unfortunately the latter is also where their problems began. The band’s musical style and Dean Davidson’s vocals that were often described as Tom Keifer-lite, led to many labelling them as a Cinderella knock off.

Their 1989 album “Boys in Heat” was a significant step away from all the unhelpful comparisons. The songs throughout the album helped establish the band’s own unique identity. Best among them, was “Dream On”.

With an addictive combination of rock and melody, this was everything good about glam rock, captured within a single song. It has the kind of tune that can get listeners immersed, while at the same time ensuring enough pace to bring crowds to life.
