10 Most Underrated Glam Rock Songs Of All Time

5. Everybody Loves You When You're Dead - Vains Of Jenna

Jumping periods for this one. The mid 2000s are certainly not known for festering any kind of glam scene. But there was the odd gem or two. Vains of Jenna were perhaps one of them. While the band never quite made it to mainstream commercial success, the shear sleaze in their music was enough to awaken the latent musical taste buds of glam rock fans across the world.

Musically, they would not be out of place in a mid 80s glam rock concert. With energetic rhythms and beats, wrapped together with increasingly decadent lyrics, they brought the full glam package. One of the brightest lights in their musical catalogue is "Everybody Loves You When You’re Dead”.

The song begins with a powerful baseline and drums, before Lizzy DeVine’s vocals turn it into overdrive. We get a rollercoaster ride through a rather sophisticated critique of how people often do not care for each other until it’s too late. Oh and the song itself was inspired from the recent passing of Michael Jackson.
