10 Most Underrated Glam Rock Songs Of All Time

4. Clap Your Hands And Stamp Your Feet – Bonnie St. Claire And Unit Gloria

Jumping locations a bit now. While continental Europe is probably more famous for the catalogue of heavy and power metal icons that came out of the region, this underrated little gem shows that the glam rock scene there was very much a thing.

Bonnie St. Claire began her musical career in the '60s. But success did not come her way until years later. In the '70s, she enjoyed a number of successful collaborations with other artists. One of the most famous of those, was her time alongside the band Unit Gloria.

In 1972, they released the song “Clap Your Hands and Stomp Your Feet”. Described by many as ABBA with a glam rock filter, this had everything needed to drive a crowd into a frenzy. With a catchy tempo, energetic lyrics, and Claire’s upbeat voice carrying it all forward, this song without a doubt deserves more mention in the glam rock spheres.
