10 Most Underrated Glam Rock Songs Of All Time

3. In A Darkened Room - Skid Row

Okay so, yes, “In a Darkened Room” can't exactly be described as obscure. It is definitely a song that most fans should have heard of. However, in terms of praise and plaudits, this masterpiece of a ballad is still very much underrated.

The song starts off slow, with Bach’s magical voice easing us into the heart of the matter. As the instruments pick up, so does Bach’s vocals. As a band, Skid Row sometimes face some ridicule for almost being a one man show. But hey you’ve got to give exposure to your best assets. And this song was about their iconic frontman more than anyone else.

The dark, melancholic themes also infuse perfectly into the sound. By the time the final high note comes to an end, we were all in unison with the band, craving for there to be light.
