10 Most Underrated Led Zeppelin Songs

1. The Lemon Song

Led Zeppelin Albums
Atlantic

On an album already playing host to Whole Lotta Love, Heartbreaker and Ramble On, it's not too much of a surprise this song slips through the cracks, but that is definitely a mistake.

The song finds its origins and inspirations in many places. Howlin' Wolf's Killing Floor was a song that Zeppelin originally incorporated into their live shows, and the performance evolved into the Lemon Song. Plant's line of "squeeze my lemon till the juice runs down my leg" links back to the previously mentioned Travelling Riverside Blues by Robert Johnson.

Zeppelin's third track on their second self titled album is everything rock and roll should be. Thumping good guitar and bass solos, backed by powerful drums and completed by Plant's iconic vocals, singing some truly memorable lyrics. Plus the opening riff is sensational.

If you have not heard this song, then out of any of these entires, make this one your priority.
