10 Most Underrated Led Zeppelin Songs

10. In The Evenings

Led Zeppelin Albums
Swan Song

The opener to the band's final studio album, this is definitely a classic orchestral banger. Sadly this song is the only truly well received track from the band's final studio outing. The song is praised for its great guitar riffs.

To create the track's droning guitar effect the band used the Gizmotron, which is a processing device first used by the band 10cc to achieve a distorted sound effect, rather than Page's usual violin bow.

The song is a slightly strange one for Zeppelin, being very wavy and psychedelic, but still holding onto their classic charm. Whilst not a well known classic, Robert Plant still calls this tune a "real stomper".
