9. Your Time Is Gonna Come
Led Zeppelin's debut is packed with hits, playing host to such classics as Good Times Bad Times, Babe I'm Gonna Leave You and Communication Breakdown. And whilst this album as a whole is an undoubted success, out of the nine songs, Your Time Is Gonna Come is arguably its most underrated.
Opening with Jones playing a whimsical organ without accompaniment, the song highlights the band's instrumental talents, blurring the line between psychedelic trip and gentle blues.
The song was written by Page and Jones about an unfaithful girl who would get her comeuppance for her deceitful ways. It is also one of few songs in which all four members sang the chorus.
