10 Most Underrated Led Zeppelin Songs

7. The Rover

Led Zeppelin Albums
Swan Song

The second track on Physical Graffiti, the Rover has one of the longest productions of any Zeppelin song. Writing for the track began in 1970 and was initially pitched as an acoustic song, and was eventually recorded in 1972 for Houses of the Holy album. However, the song didn't make it onto the album and after a couple of guitar dubs it made it onto the band's sixth album in 1975.

This song is mainly so underrated for the lack of talk about Page's incredible guitar lines. The main guitar riffs are the song's strong point, so to think they were the late edition which got them onto Physical Graffiti is understandable.

A severely underrated hard rock track, which should be up there with some of the band's classics.
