10 Most Underrated Limp Bizkit Songs

1. Hold On

Hello again Scott Weiland.

Given the high quality of Limp Bizkit's collaborations with the late megaphone enthusiast, it really is a pity there wasn't more of them.

Despite their often tumultuous and polarising reputation, the Woodstock '99 menaces are a multi-talented and creative bunch. More thoughtful, rock-friendly tracks like 'Hold On' are a testament to the versatility of their sound. The slow burn intro and reflective, mellow tones in Durst and Weiland's voices are a refreshing change of pace for an LP sporting ear-splitters like 'Take A Look Around' and 'My Generation'.

With beautiful guitar work from Borland and a typically heart-on-his-sleeve performance from Weiland, this doesn't feel much like a Limp Bizkit track at all. That's not to say it alienates the group's core fans though. While it lacks their trademark tenacity, this song has a certain darkness and loneliness to it that places it firmly in the edgier side of the camp.

Despite not being released as a single, 'Hold On's reputation has grown considerably in the years since the group's third album burst onto the scene in October 2000. Easily the most haunting bit of work Limp Bizkit has ever done, this track is a must listen for fans and non-fans alike.
