2. Crack Addict

WrestleMania XIX, despite its high quality, was a surprisingly unsuccessful pay-per-view for WWE in 2003. Its less than stellar buyrate reflected the once monumentally popular promotion's steady decline after the end of the Attitude Era. It's fitting then that Limp Bizkit, suffering a similar decline at the time, performed an exclusive track for the show.
With lead guitarist Wes Borland gone, the rest of the gang limped into '03 unsure of what to do now that the nu metal craze was no more. This song, while devoid of any sense of reinvention, reminded fans why they'd grown to love the red cap enthusiast and his crass crew in the first place.
Between the nonsensical but hyperactively hard-hitting lyrics and the wild, unwieldy composition, Crack Addict is a perfect moshing track. The chorus revealing the frontman's fondness for cracking heads when things get messy only furthers its status in this regard.
After a two year absence from performing live, the reveal of 'Crack Addict' left many hoping for a solid follow up to 'Chocolate Starfish and The Hot Dog Flavoured Water'. While the giant Borland-shaped hole in 'Results May Vary' later crushed those dreams, this standalone, promotional track is good fun and worth a revisit.
