10 Most Underrated My Chemical Romance Songs

7. House Of Wolves - The Black Parade

Towards the halfway point of the Black Parade, the Patient has certainly seen better days. After coming to grips with the fact that his cancer is terminal, he starts to think about what awaits for him in the afterlife. Since he has no one to turn to in the land of living though, he starts to find a few more confidantes in the underworld.

Blasting out of I Don't Love You we have House of Wolves, which Gerard Way compared to the Patient watching a seedy bar band in Hell. He's not too far off the mark there either, considering the whole song revolves around a demented swing beat that seems to call back to the traditional '20s music that you would have seen centuries beforehand. This isn't your grandpa's swing music though....this is where the real heavy stuff kicks in.

Fronting the band, this is the Patient signing his life away, pretty much admitting to the fact that he's going to spend the rest of his days in Hell if he doesn't change his ways pretty fast. From the sound of Gerard's voice, you can almost hear the Patient taunting his angels, saying that he wants to be known as a bad man and be kicked around like he has been all his life. Never before has the act of psychological torture ever felt this fun.
