10 Most Underrated Oasis Songs

7. Bag It Up - Dig Out Your Soul

There are a lot of cynical fans who tend to think of Oasis as a one trick pony. I mean, after you've heard stuff like Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger, you've pretty much heard all the good stuff, right? While that isn't remotely true by any stretch, Dig Out Your Soul showed us something different from the minute it started.

For the first time in years, it sounded like Oasis were taking a few more risks, going down a more garage focused direction for the opening track Bag It Up. Breaking out the old amplifiers, Liam sounds a lot more nasty on this version of the track, almost like he's trying on his impression of a hard rock vocalist, all while Noel's detuned guitar struts across the rest of the song.

Though most of the lyrics of the chorus don't seem to connect together all that often, this song seems to exist to give off more of a vibe than anything else. After years of being in their own way on a few of their tracks, this sounds like Oasis doing things on their own terms and coming through with a song that's a lot more angry than before. As much as the Gallagher Brothers love their classic rock, this sounds like what the Rolling Stones would have made had they been born in the midst of the punk revolution.
