10 Most Underrated Rock Music Frontmen And Women

1. Michael Hutchence - INXS

You could have dropped Michael Hutchence in his prime into any era of music between the early '60s and now and he would have been a star.

The frontman of Australian band INXS was simply born to be famous. Hutchence was the walking embodiment of charisma; devastatingly handsome, cheeky, sly, and just so damn watchable.

With his long flowing hair, steely stare, and penchant for leather, Hutchence became an instant sex symbol and enjoyed many a fling with the most beautiful women of his day.

He strutted around stage, entrancing his audience with every bend of his knee, every thrust of his crotch, and every sultry word sung from his lips. Hutchence served as the perfect bridge between the Jim Morrisons of the past and the Matty Healys of the future; an effortlessly cool poet who people loved and hated in equal measure.

Sadly, his story ended on a tragic note, as he took his own life at the age of just 37.

In his short life, Michael Hutchence produced so much music that made so many people happy, and should be remembered as one of the masters of his craft.
