10 Most Underrated Rock Music Frontmen And Women
7. Corey Glover - Living Colour
When it comes to being underrated, you can place the entirety of Living Colour right towards the top of the list. Despite giving the world the much-loved Cult of Personality in 1988, the band barely have a place in the mainstream history of rock.
There's way more to this band than just CM Punk's entrance music. If you haven't heard Love Rears Its Ugly Head, you change that right now.
Corey Glover was right at the centre of the action for Living Colour, serving as the group's lead singer between 1985 and 1995 and then again from 2000 until the present day.
Like the project as a whole, Glover's style incorporates influences from many different genres. He brings a hip-hop stage presence with him, bouncing around on stage to the beat provided to him by his bandmates.
Corey's also extremely soulful when he wants to be, channelling the smooth spirit of R&B and jazz into his work.
It also helps that he's a damn fine singer.
Whilst Living Colour as a whole are great on stage - shout-out to guitarist Vernon Reid - it's Glover that holds the whole thing together.
