10 Most Unforgettable Super Bowl Halftime Performances Ever

7. The Rolling Stones (2006)

Mick Jagger and the lads might have only performed three songs instead of the usual four or even five but nobody could feel short-changed after their performance. They started with a rousing version of Start Me Up before moving on to Rough Justice and, inevitably (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction (which Jagger quipped that they could have performed it at Super Bowl 1 back in 1967). The performance, as usual for the Stones, was positively bursting with energy and movement. After the events of the previous year's Super Bowl halftime show (more on that later) the band were subject to a five second delay and several of their saucier lines were censored. Some felt that a band from Detroit should have played the show instead but odds are that those same people were shaking their hips to the this memorable twelve minute performance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44Xro6eccXQ
