6. Dave Grohl Fell Off Stage, Broke His Leg Then Finished A Show
A WTF moment doesn't have to be negative...it just has to be completely shocking and bewildering. Arguably nothing was more shocking and bewildering than the Foo Fighters concert in Gothenberg, Sweden which saw lead singer Dave Grohl accidentally jump off stage and break his leg. For a while, things looked grim. Grohl lay in the security pit clutching a microphone and announced to thousands of fans that he had broken his leg. The singer was incredibly apologetic, and promised the band would return one day to finish the show. Fair enough. Disappointing, sure, but totally understandable. But things didn't stop there. An hour later, Grohl was back, carried on stage by two medics. He took a seat on a chair in the middle of the stage and played the rest of the show, which lasted several more hours. You'd think that would have been the end of it; that Grohl had struggled through the pain and would subsequently cancel all foreseeable dates in order to recover, but the musician actually designed a throne from his hospital bed that he could continue to play from, complete with flashing lights and dozens of guitar necks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeUrSm4_cpk
