10 Music Reunions That Were Doomed From The Start

When Creed broke up in 2004 they swore they would never get back together. Relations between lead vocalist Scott Stapp and the rest of the band had soured that much that as soon as he admitted himself into rehab for drug and alcohol abuse the other members formed a group called Alter Bridge.

The split seemed to suit everyone until 2009 when it was announced on Creed's website that they had reunited and had plans for a new album and tour. On the surface everything seemed to be going well. The band only had positive things to say about each other in the press whilst promoting their new album and sellout tour.

Yet behind the scenes all was not rosy. A planned follow up album was shelved and Creed have been on hiatus since 2012. Guitarist Mark Tremonti has gone on record as saying that he hasn't been friends with Stapp since 2006. Apparently, very little communication happened between the singer and the rest of the band on their last tour.

At present only Stapp is open to another reunion, while the rest of the band seem happy to call it quits.
