9. Travis Scott - Highest In The Room

Released in October 2019, Highest In The Room is a single written by American rapper Travis Scott and is his second number one US hit following Sicko Mode.

The R&B hell-ride is absolutely littered with psychedelic and horrifying CG imagery, with the camera diving into Travis' mouth and down his throat for a scene transition to kick things off. His severed head is then shown tumbling down a see of other heads, before another series of transitions shows the American rapper being kidnapped and strapped up to a chair with some metal hooks pulling his mouth out wide.

The action then moves to a strip club-esque room where Travis is put under the drill and comes out of an elevator with sparks replacing his eyes, ready for his showdown with a Ninja-looking foe.

Whilst undeniably an interesting and unique watch, there are so many images nestled in here that could have been plucked straight out of a scene from Hostel, with a couple of visuals that wouldn't look out of place in The Thing thrown in for good measure, and all of these are sure to leave a listener wondering why this rapper didn't pursue a career in becoming the next Rob Zombie.
